Settled in 1783 it originally was the site of ship building and shipping. Today it's become a sightseers delight. Some points of interest are, miles of unspoiled beaches, fresh and salt water fishing, an active harbour with twin covered bridges, the sea caves, Anvil Rock, and the salt marshes just to name a few.
